Master Programme Religion and Conflict Transformation

Today in various parts of the world there are dangerous conflicts which are interlinked with religious rivalries. Often, the main reasons are political and economic. Yet these conflicts are frightening and painful.

How can we live together as neighbours in the face of different religious identities? How can Christians communicate and cooperate with Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and other religious communities? How can churches help to moderate conflicts and work towards peace and reconciliation? The international master programme Religion and Conflict Transformation helps

  • to get a deeper understanding of the conflict situation
  • to find helpful approaches to conflict resolution
  • to be a positive agent for the vision of living together as humans on this earth which God created for all his children
