Andacht – Trauer im Lockdown

Vor einigen Wochen gedachten wir des Lebens, des Leidens, des Todes und der Auferstehung unseres Herrn Jesus Christus. Im Johannes-Evangelium steht dazu in Kapitel 19, Vers 38; „Danach bat den Pilatus Joseph von Arimathia, der ein Jünger Jesu war, doch heimlich aus Furcht vor den Juden, dass er dürfe wegnehmen den Leichnam Jesu. Und Pilatus erlaubte es. Da kam Joseph und nahm Jesu Leichnam weg“.

Wenn ein geliebter Mensch stirbt, hilft das Wort Gottes, um Trost und Frieden zu finden. Als Teil der strikten Maßnahmen zur Eindämmung der Ausbreitung des Corona-Virus wurden in vielen Ländern die üblichen Beerdigungszeremonien stark eingeschränkt oder komplett ausgesetzt. Johannes beschreibt weiter in Vers 39; „Es kam aber auch Nikodemus, der vormals bei der Nacht zu Jesus gekommen war, und brachte Myrrhe und Aloe vermischt bei hundert Pfund. So nahmen sie den Leichnam Jesu, banden ihn in leinene Tücher mit den Spezereien, wie die Juden pflegen zu begraben. Es war aber an der Stätte, da er gekreuzigt ward, nahe einem Garten, und im Garten ein neues Grab, in welches niemand je gelegt war. Da hinein legten sie Jesu um den großen Sabbat willen der Juden, weil das Grab nahe (bei Golgatha) war.“

Viele Familien weltweit können derzeit nicht so von ihren verstorbenen Angehörigen Abschied nehmen, wie es Brauch ist und wie sie es gerne möchten. Auch Freund/innen, Nachbarn und Nachbarn können weder Abschied nehmen noch in angemessener Weise mit den Angehörigen trauern.

Wir bitten Dich, Herr, dass die Kirche in der Welt durch ihre Mitglieder und Leiter/innen Wege finden kann, um diese emotionalen und spirituellen Bedürfnisse zu erfüllen. Wir beten, dass wir Werkzeuge des Friedens und des Trostes sein mögen, damit wir in diesen schwierigen Zeiten geistliche Begleitung bieten können. Wir beten für diejenigen, die schweigend weinen und keinen Trost finden. Wir beten für diejenigen, die nicht umarmen können, und für diejenigen, die keine Umarmung, keine Geste des Friedens oder der Solidarität empfangen können. Wir beten besonders für Familien, die ihre Angehörigen nicht in Gottes Hände übergeben können. Wir vertrauen jedoch darauf, Herr, dass wir durch unsere Gebete für die verstorbenen Heiligen diesen Schritt markieren und uns Deines Versprechens sicher sein können. Deines Versprechens, das besagt, dass du alle Seelen unter deinen Schutz nehmen wirst und dass sie an deiner Seite ruhen und sich des ewigen Lebens freuen werden. Wir vertrauen auch darauf, dass es in Zukunft Zeit geben wird, in der sich Gemeinschaften treffen und zusammenkommen können, um dieser Menschen zu gedenken und diesen Übergang zum ewigen Leben Wirklichkeit werden zu lassen. Denn der Mensch lebt nicht vom Brot allein, sondern von jedem Wort, das aus dem Mund Gottes kommt. (Matthäus 4,4). Dein Wort, das uns zum Leben des Geistes und zur Ewigkeit deines Reiches führt.

A few weeks ago we commemorated the life, passion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible, through the Gospel of John, tells us in chapter 19, verse 38 that Joseph of Arimathea, who was a disciple of Jesus, secretly begged Pilate to let him take the body of Jesus; and Pilate granted him. Then he went and took the body of Jesus. We know that when a loved one dies, the word of God is essential to finding comfort and peace. As part of the strict measures to mitigate the spread of the corona-virus, in many countries, bodies have been denied to family members so that they can be watched over and given a Christian burial. John goes on to describe in verse 39; „There came Nicodemus, who before had visited Jesus by night, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds. 40; „They took the body of Jesus and wrapped it in linen cloths with spices, according to the Jewish custom of burying. 41; „In the place where he was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had yet been laid. 42; „So they laid Jesus there because of the preparation of the Passover of the Jews, and because that tomb was near. Many families have not been/are not and will not be able to make a careful and special preparation to say good bye their relatives. Neither friends, nor neighbours, nor people close to them have been able to express their pain and solidarity in a physical way with the grieving families.

We ask You Lord that the church in the world, through its members and leaders can find ways and tools to fulfill these emotional and spiritual needs. We pray that we may be instruments of peace and consolation, so that in these difficult times we can provide spiritual accompaniment. We pray for those who cry in silence and find no consolation. We pray for those who cannot embrace and those who cannot receive a hug, a gesture of peace or solidarity. We pray especially for families who cannot surrender their loved ones into God’s hands. However, we trust, Lord, that through our prayers for the departed saints, we can mark this step and be assured of your promise. Your promise that says; that you receive all souls into your lap and that they rest beside you enjoying eternal life. We also trust that there will be time in the future when communities can meet and come together to remember these people and make this transition to eternal life a reality. For man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. (Matthew 4;4). Your word that leads us to the life of the spirit and to the eternity of your kingdom.

Hace unas semanas atras conmemorabamos la vida, pasión, muerte y resurrección de nuestro senor jesucristo. La biblia a través del evangelio de Juan, nos narra en el capítulo 19, versículo 38 que José de Arimatea, que era  discipulo de jesús, secretamente por miedo de los judíos, rogó a Pilatos que le permitiera llevarse el cuerpo de jesús; y Pilato se lo concedió. Entonces fué y se llevó el cuerpo de Jesús. Sabemos que cuando muere un ser querido, la palabra de Dios es esencial para encontrar consuelo y paz. En muchos paises se han negado los cuerpos a los familiares para poder velarlos y darles cristiana sepultura como parte de las medidas estrictas para mitigar el contagio del virus. Juan continúa describiendo en el versículo 39; “Vino Nicodemo, el que antes había visitado a jesús de noche, trayendo un compuesto de mirra y de aloes, como cien libras. 40; “Tomaron el cuerpo de Jesús y lo envolvieron en lienzos con especias aromáticas, según la costumbre judía de sepultar”. 41; “En el lugar donde fue crucificado había un huerto, y en el huerto un sepulcro nuevo, en el cual aún no se había puesto a nadie”. 42; ^“Allí, pues, por causa de la preparación de la Pascua de los judíos, y porque aquel sepulcro estaba cerca, pusieron a Jesús”. Muchas familias no han podido realizar una meticulosa y especial preparación para despedir a sus familiares. Ni los amigos, ni los vecinos, ni las personas cercanas han podido expresar su dolor y solidaridad de forma física con las familias dolientes.

Te pedimos Senor que la iglesia a través de sus miembros y líderes puedan encontrar formas y herramientas para cubrir estas necesidades emocionales y espirituales. Oramos para que podamos ser instrumentos de paz y consuelo. Para que en estos tiempos tan dificiles podamos brindar acompanamiento espiritual. Te pedimos, por los que lloran en silencio y no encuentran consuelo. Te pedimos por los que no podemos abrazar y los que no pueden recibir un abrazo, un gesto de paz ó de solidaridad. Oramos especialmente por las familias que no pueden entregar a sus seres queridos en las manos de Dios. Sin embargo, confiamos Senor, que por medio de nuestras oraciones por los santos difuntos, podemos ir marcando este paso y asegurarnos de tu promesa. Tu promesa que dice; que recibes a todas las almas en tu regazo y que descansan junto a tí disfrutando de la vida eterna. También confiamos en que habrá tiempo en el futuro en que las comunidades podrán encontrarse y reunirse para recordar a estas personas y concretar esta transición hacia la vida eterna. Porque no sólo del pan vive el hombre, sino de toda palabra que sale de la boca de Dios. (Mateo 4;4). Tu palabra que nos lleva a la vida del espíritu y a la eternidad de tu reino.
