Andacht – Wirkendes Wort

So fern der Morgen ist vom Abend, lässt er unsere Übertretungen von uns sein.

Psalm 103,12

Zum Psalm 103 muss man eigentlich nichts sagen. Machen Sie es einfach so:

Suchen Sie sich einen stillen Winkel, zünden vielleicht noch eine Kerze an, schlagen in Ihrer Bibel die Psalmen auf und lesen sich selbst den 103. Psalm laut vor, langsam und ruhig. Und der Psalm wird Sie mit hineinnehmen in das Lob unseres großen, gnädigen Gottes. Verharren Sie noch etwas in der Stille, lassen die Psalmworte noch in der Seele nachschwingen.

Lesen Sie nochmals die Worte, die Ihnen besonders nahegingen. Nehmen Sie sie mit in den Tag.

Singen Sie dann noch Ihr persönliches Lieblingsloblied, beten ein Vater unser – und schon hatten Sie eine wunderbare Andacht, hineingenommen in die Größe Gottes.

Psalm 103:12

There is no need to make many words about Psalm 103. Just do it like this:

Find a quiet corner, maybe light a candle, open the Psalms in your Bible and read the 103rd Psalm to yourself, aloud, slowly and calm. And the Psalm will take you into the praise of our great, gracious God.

If you remain in silence for a while, the words of the psalm will still resonate in your soul. Read the words again that were especially close to you. Take them with you into the day. Then sing your favorite hymn, pray a Lord’s Prayer – and you will have had a wonderful devotion, absorbed in the greatness of God.
