Andacht – In der Warteschleife

 

Und es murrte die ganze Gemeinde der Israeliten wider Moses und Aaron in der Wüste. 2.Mose 16,2

 

So und ähnlich liest man immer wieder in der langen Geschichte vom Auszug des Volkes Israel aus Ägypten und seiner langen Wanderung durch die Wüste.

Fast möchte man unsere momentane Situation mit einer Wüstenwanderung vergleichen: Schon fast ein Jahr lang beschäftigt uns Corona, und immer wieder aufs Neue müssen wir uns einschränken: So muss man ja momentan überlegen, welche einzelne Person man einladen soll: Oma oder Opa? Alex oder lieber seine Frau? Eine*r muss zuhause bleiben. Dass man gelegentlich im Stillen gegen „die Oberen murrt“, ist durchaus verständlich.

Wann hat das alles ein Ende?

Das mögen die Israeliten während ihrer 40jährigen Wanderung durch die Wüste auch gedacht haben.

Wann endlich ist das Ziel erreicht? – Wann können wir wieder normal leben?

Eine endlose Warteschleife tut sich auf! Das ist doch kein Leben!

Während der Wüstenwanderung der Israeliten passiert allerdings eine Menge Positives: Gott schenkt Wunder und Rettungen; es gibt Geburten, Hoffnungszeichen und Begegnungen mit Gott; und nicht zuletzt die zweimalige Übergabe der Zehn Gebote an das Volk Israel!

Öffnen doch auch wir die Augen, was alles während dieser endlos langen Warteschleife in der Pandemie passiert! Hoffentlich entdecken wir viel Gutes?!

Für mich persönlich waren es zum Beispiel eingeschränkte, aber intensive Treffen im kleinsten Kreis und viele Spaziergänge, immer wieder mit anderen Freund*innen. Ein echter Segen!

Gott segne unser Dasein in der Warteschleife!

One reads like this again and again in the long story of the exodus of the people of Israel from Egypt and their long hike through the desert.

You almost want to compare our current situation with a very long desert hike: Corona has kept us busy for almost a year and we always have to limit ourselves again and again: so you have to think about which single person you would like to invite: Grandma or Grandpa? Alex or his wife? One has to stay at home. That one occasionally quietly grumbles against the “upper ones” is quite understandable.

When does it all end?

That is what the Israelites may have thought during their 40-year hike through the desert.

When will the target finally be reached? When can we live normally again?

An infinitely waiting loop opens. That’s no life!

But during the desert hike of the Israelites a lot of positive things happened: God gives wonders and rescues; he gives births, signs of hope and encounters with god; and not least two handovers of the ten commandments to the people of Israel.

Let’s open our eyes to what’s happening during this infinitely long waiting loop in this pandemic. Hopefully we will discover a lot of good things!

For me personally it was, for example, limited but intensive meetings in a small group and many walks, again and again with other friends. A real blessing!

God bless our existence in the waiting loop!
